India Canada Conflict Latest News: The real face of Canada, which raised questions on India regarding the Nijjar massacre, has been exposed by one of its own former police officers. Former Toronto Police Sergeant (Detective) Donald Best wrote to India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has supported the point that Canada lacks proper screening processes for immigrants.
Not only this, Donald Best has expressed concern that there are many loopholes in Canada’s visa approval process, which allows people with criminal background and links to organized crime in India to enter Canada.
India’s concerns about separatists are justified
While talking to news agency ANI, Donald Best said many other big things. Best, who has also been an investigative journalist by profession, said India’s concerns about Khalistani separatists getting political space in Canada are justified. Best said, “The Indian Foreign Minister has mentioned that Canada is approving visas for people who are criminals and were members of organized crime in India. I believe that is true. There is no investigation at all because of all these reasons a large number of Khalistanis are gathering in Canada and their community is increasing.
5 percent immigrants came in the last 2 years
Donald Best criticized the policies of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, saying that Canada is in turmoil and that the country, with a small population of about 40 million, has seen about five per cent of the immigrants come in the last two years. He said, “Since Trudeau and his government took power in Canada, we have seen very dramatic changes. We have seen massive and uncontrolled immigration, which has had a negative impact on our housing, economy, social services, hospitals and health services. There is a serious negative impact. We are a very small country in terms of population, but in terms of 40 million people, there has been a lot of turmoil here in the last one and a half years. We have also received strong criticism that for some reason Khalistani separatists and Sikhs have too much and wrong influence here.
More than 2600 gangs are active in Canada
Best said that according to the Criminal Intelligence Service of Canada, there are more than 2,600 organized crime groups active here, which pose a significant threat to public safety and social stability. These groups are involved in various illegal activities, including the illegal drug market, violent crime and financial crime. The Indian government has expressed concern about Canada’s perceived softness towards Khalistani extremists who want to create an independent Sikh state.
